Our history
Trading as Gibson Opticians, our Horden practice is the newest member of the Cooper & Leatherbarrow group.
The practice was opened in 1982, being originally owned and run by Mr Ken Gibson, who also worked on a part-time basis in the Darlington practice. We acquired the practice in 2014 and have completely refitted it.
Eye examinations are available every Tuesday and Thursday (late night). Dr Tony Gibson, Ken’s son, is the principal optometrist in attendance.
